3 week wait for Comcast cable install ?????? Can't Post

I called Comcast for the Triple Play promotion . Its a pretty good deal for 12 months only $99.00 + taxes.
However they told me the next available date would be THREE WEEKS FROM NOW .Anybody out there work for Comcast, is this a normal wait time ??????
Also anyone from Comcast know if there is anyway to get just High Speed Internet for $40.00 a month (thats what I was paying 2 years ago). They are charging $60.00 a month now !!!! Any promotions out there for the Chicago area ?? They told me I could get the internet for $45.00 a month but I need to have a cable subscribtion too.PirateJesus , when will this stop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres an option for you if you want it free, totally FREE!. Have you heard a FREE internet thru your toilet bowl? Some people in IL. have been using it and it's not something advertise to the public. You can search the google and find out your FREE installation KIT. (I know it's funny lol)..
You may wonder how does it work. Well, most signals now perhaps in the near future. Lights and water is a perfect way of this method and thru water running from sewer is universal way of spreading signal anywhere.( Imagine the digital cable that transmit signal from your source compact disc player to the DIGITAL capable amp.)
I have seen this illustrations but just can't find myself thru this experiment. Although it's FREE, a cable flushing thru the bowl just look ridiculous...
Cable provider is fortune 500 company. It don't really matter to them, One in particular would be bothered by their service and fees. Cause at the end of the line. Satisfactions isn't their utmost goal, making more money is.

What a waste of time. Anyway, I'm a tech in Utah, and sometimes we get out about two weeks. Three weeks is pretty long. One thing that rings a bell right away is, since you're doing the triple play you are doing phone service. Are you porting an number and if so from where? If it's native, that's a long time, but if it's ported thats a normal amount of time. If you're a Vonage customer porting over, then three weeks is a short amount of time. They are bad for ports. Also, if the prices are the same nationwide (as I am sure they are) you can get away with just high speed internet or $55 a month without cable. The other number didn't sound right. Anyway, hope that was helpful.

only thing comcast sends out on time is the bill.which is way overpriced but i have no choice and a dish is to much work and an eyesore.
