Detect of Traps Can't Post

There are two traps on the inbound analog cable from Comcast coming to my splitter. Is there a way that a cable company can detect the removal of such things? Also, does the Db level of the splitter affect detectability? Finally, can the number of cables coming from a splitter be detected? I'm sure certain brands of cable fittings have lower resistance then others. Which are the lowest resistance?

Thanks!
