Digital television help Can't Post

Hello good People !

I`m a cable TV ( ISP to ) worker in Poland. Our boss finally decided to upgrade our network from analog ( don`t laugh pls ) to digital. Soon headend equipment will arrive and I`ll have to make it work. That`s not hard at all but I`m thinking about what problems might occure after installation - I mean for customers or with network itself. If any of u forum members have some experience with large cable networks and can share some info with me please do will really apriciate any help.

Maybe some more info about what I`m talking bout - examples:
1. Network signal power level, hum, c/n, modulation.
2. TV problems.
3. Receiver problems.

Anything that u might come up with.

Big Thanks in advance !
Jacob

I could go on and on for years with this little question you are asking. So we won’t get that started. There is allot of things you can run into depending on the equipment you are using and so on. The SCTE has allot of information in the library and in seminars that would be a big help to you. I think they have several training manuals you can order as well. You can visit them at http://SCTE.org Best of luck to you.
