Diplexing Can't Post

Has anyone working a standard cable system ever diplexed a cable signal with a satalite signal and been successful in having all the cable functions work cooinciding with the satalite signal?

Re: [comcast.tech] Diplexing [In reply to] Can't Post

In case anyone wanted to know, I have now found that by diplexing a satalite signal and a cable signal all functions remain (for the most part) functional. Obviously the satalite recievers emit noise onto the line, but the big problem exists in the upstream of a cable line. No Upstream. So, internet and "ondemand" functions are shot. Nothing like a little experiment to answer our own questions.
