Problems Adding a Baby Monitor Camera Can't Post
Can anyone help....?....here's my problem...see link for pictures...

I had all this working THEN the cable company came by to check problems and re-wired my incoming connections. I have basic cable (no cable box) and I wanted to add a baby monitor camera to the incoming lead cable wire via a TV modulator set on channel 80. This will allow all the TV's in the house to have access to channel 80. I've tried using a splitter/combiner to combine the main lead and the baby camera but when I do this my cable modem looses connection and I my baby camera does not appear on channel 80. I have checked the camera and modulator by hooking it directly to a TV and all is working fine. I know my problem has to be in the splitter/combiner but I'm not sure what I need to fix this.....thanks for any help...!!

Ok 2 things, try to get away from the rat shack splitter, You need a 5 mhz to 1000mhz splitter. You are using the splitter corectly to combine the camra, however move it. have the main cable drop going to the cable companys 2 way like they had it and the cable modem off one leg and line to the splitter to the other tv's off the other leg. Now place your splitter/combiner in between the splitter from the drop and the splitter to the tv's this will give you port to port isolation from the modem.
