Time Warner Channels Missing Now and then? Can't Post

Dear Readers
I have Time Warner Cable TV and RoadRunner.
For the most part it works very well
Sporadically channels 5-68 go all hazy and unwatchable.?
I have had Time Warner out and they say it is ok.
I have hooked a cable directly to the wire from the pole and still nothing.
Then it will be ok again for no reason
Any ideas as the technicians sure dont. This isnt digital.

Re: [Pabco] Time Warner Channels Missing Now and then? [In reply to] Can't Post

Well it could be alot of things from the tv all the way back to the headend. The first question is do you have any other tv's in the house and are they having the same issue? If not then the issue is from the splitter to that tv set or the tv. If all of the tv's have the issue then it is before the splitter.
These issues are hard for a cable tech to repair if it is not happening while they are there. If it is happening whyle they are there the can test the signal and see where the issue is comming from
