i live in USA have Time Warner Cable, looking for a way for free cable. It is DIGITAL/HD, not no cruddy 125 cable box type!

Not sure how you're going to do it unless you buy a box that's programmed or do they still sell the decoder kits?
My roomate just went outside to the underground box and lifted the cover and re-attached the cable.
We had all the standard channels free. We hooked the cable directly to the back of our tv set. If you have digital cable in your area I don't think this will work.

There is no such thing as free cable TV. Theft of cable in most states can get you 6 months in jail and up to $10,000 in fines. Helping others get free cable TV is called cable piracy and carries up to 6 years in jail and $250000 in fines. And by the way you are making every one else's bill go up by not sharing in the cost of the cable operation.Unsure Just thought you would like to know.
