Can anyone tell me what is the maximum cable run on coaxial cable from source without using amplifier.

Help is appreciated

It depends on signal strength and how many times you split it

that is correct it depends on the signal strength. You can go to my web site and the download section and download the install calculator and figure out your loss by length and splitters if you know the input level.

Using RG6 cable, 60% shielding, for every 100 feet of cable, you will loose 7 - 10db of signal. Every splitter has a loss, anywhere from 3.5db on a 2 way to 12.5db on an eight way, so if you are going to wire a really long outlet, make sure you get the splitters etup right to give the long outlet the most signal you can.
