missing movie channels Can't Post

i'm missing some movie channels through my digital box. mostly only east coast feeds. (SHOw ok, SHOe not available) cable guy has been out 7 times & can't fix it. last time while he was here they all worked fine but soon after he left they were gone again.
on rare occasions they come in w/tileing but are gone after changing channels.
help.....

Contact your cable company and have them send out a maintenance tech that has a meter capable of looking at the QAM signal constellation and testing for ingress. You may have an issue that a service tech cant see with an install meter. If every thing is fine request that they replace your cable box.

I agree it's that it is probally ingress caused by a connection at the tap or ground block or bad drop

Another thing you may check for is if the box has a modulator screwed into the back of it. If it does, take it off. These RF devices have been known to cause ingress to some digital movie channels and some special tier channels i.e. spanish channels, sports channels, hd channels.
