There's this show on the Biography channel called "I Survived" you may enjoy. It focuses on people who overcame unbelievable circumstances, like surviving domestic violence and rape, driving alongside psychotic hitchhikers, etc.. It's definitely a show that empowers the viewer to keep moving forward no matter what the circumstance. It airs Mondays at 9pm ET.

I hope you find the show as inspiring as I have. I have changed my perspective ever since. I won't get into my car at night without turning on the dome light.
