Laser disc player - no parts ?

I have a laser disc transport by a "high end" audio company call Enlightened Audio Designs. The model number is T-7000 and it is about 12 years old. Now the transport is not reading the cd's and the tray would not stop at the opening position. I called EAD and they said there are no parts for this old unit. But the tech. did said that if I can get a hold of a Philips laser disc player model CDV 400 and the part are interchangeable. Now I am looking around to see if there is such thing floating on this planet. If you have or know someone may have a Philip CDV 400 laser disc player... Please drop me a e-mail. Or if anyone know how to fix one of these darn thing... Thx pl
