ITVF ANNOUNCES FIRST EVER WEBSERIES COMPETITION

Continuing its innovative spirit, the Independent Television Festival
is pleased to announce the first ever Web Series Competition.
A Web Series is a collection of webisodes, short form entertainment
made specifically for the web.
The way that the public views TV is changing and studios are now
scrambling to keep up with the multiple venues for new shows and ideas.
The ITVFEST is a chance for producers and studio heads to “realize
that the avenues for creative production are widening and there's a
presently existent idea pool which they have not even begun to tap,”
according to Tesler(Executive Director of ITVF).
The Web Series competition supports that idea and ushers in the future
of entertainment. As more and more people turn into internet video
sites for their doses of entertainment, the ITVF will be there to
provide those making top notch serial shows for the web the opportunity
to be seen by television professionals seeking the next important
voice.
