2 2x4 multi-plexer's? 1 dish Can't Post

I have five rooms in my Apt(4 bed an living) and one with Tivo So I will need 6 feeds from the sat. The problem is half the tvs are on one side of the apt and half are on the other, I have the the triple LNB dish with the built in 4x multi-plexer.

Can I run two lines one direction into a 2x4 multiplexer and 2 lines the other direction into another 2x4 multi-plexer to get to the otherside of the Apt.

I am trying to avoid having to run cable from a 4x8 multi all over the apt.

Thanks

You could it but I think you will need 2 powered multi-switches.

Try this forum www.dbsforum.com a lot of installers on that forum.

it depends on wich tripple sat dish you have, If this is the one with the switch built into the lnbs, then you will have to run with a 4x8, if it is the old plus dish with the 4way switch mounted on the back of the dish then you can use 2 power pass splitters connected to the 2 ports of the 101 lnb , taking 1 feed off each splitter to feed each 4way
