Changing out Receiver Can't Post

Hi Guys-I bought a HD Receiver from E-Bay and received a virgin card from the sender-will DTV take that card instead of having to buy another card?-I have 5 recs running, full programming and just want to change one out without spending anymore. Anyone run into a simular problem?

If by a " virgin card " you mean one still wrapped and never activated, it is no problem. Even if the card is bad you can either get a new card from D* for $20 or you might be able to transfer the card from the receiver you are using now and plan to disconnect.

So when you call to activate the new HD receiver , get that one activated first before you kill the other one.
