Clear line of sight Can't Post

Hello Every one; I am new to the forum. I was wondering if any one can help. I just ordered DirecTV for the second time. Last yr i tried to get it but they told me i only had 3 trees between directly in the line of sight; guy said that i could get reception but that direct TV would not let them install if it was borderline. While walking around my neighborhood i saw a lot of neighbors with the dish and trees all around their house. I stopped to talk to one and that tree was pointed directly into some of her trees and she said they have no issues at all.
Any one out there with trees in your property with out issues with signal? Also any ideas how i can convince the tech guy to install and see if it works? I am sick of my cable provider (Charter) and i want to switch. My install is Wed the 5th.
Thanks for any feedback.

The trees could be a problem, but since your neighbors are not having a problem getting a signal.

Remember the new HD sat dish needs a line of sight to 5 sats spread across the horizion compared to just a single sat for a round dish.

Some installers would prefer not to mess with installs that trees are involved because the faster they do the install , the quicker they can get to the next paying install. Most will take the time to find a location that you can get a line of sight .
