DTV HD Information	Can't Post

Let's say that I link up w/ a buddy of mine who has regular DTV (we live in seperate houses, but in the same spot beam. I purchase a 5 lnb dish and HD receiver and then have it hooked up to my buddies account, being that he doesnt have HD capabilities on his account, will that affect me having HD being that I'm on his account?

Directv charges extra for a HD Pak (ESPNHD,ESPN2 hd,HDNET etc) so you must subscribe to the HD Pak to receive those channels.
If you have HBO or Showtime already or add them the HD version is avaiable by just adding a HD Receiver to the account.
The Hd locals would turned on when you add the HD receiver to the account.
Once he adds a HD receiver to his account,he has hd.
If he ever decides to upgrade he would not be eligible for any free installation because his account address has HD already.
The new 5 lnb sat dish isn't an easy self install to do.
