Direct DVR R-10 Question

Direct DVR R-10 Question	Can't Post

I just purchased, well, was given a Direct DVR r-10 to replace my old direct tv receiver. My question is do I use the old access card from my old receiver in the DVR or do I use the one that came with the dvr? My thinking is since the card in the old receiver already works then it should work in the dvr and all I should have to do is call in and activate the tivo part. Let me know what you think...

You just call and have your access switched to the dvr.

If your old access card is too old you might need a new one.

I got Direct tv earlier in the year so the card isnt to old. Thanks for your help!!
