Hi all, I have a question and hope someone can help me out:
I have a 3lnb oval dish that will be connected to a 5x8 multiswitch. I have one line going to my directv tivo. I know that you can run another line to it so that you can record something while watching another channel. The problem is that the line to the tivo was ran in my basement that was unfinished at the time and it is now drywalled so i can no longer hide the wire. Is there anyway to combine 2 lines from the 5x8 switch, sent it through the exsisting single line, then split it again at the end to be able to record a channel and watch something else at the same time? I hope this is not confusing. I do know that I can use a diplexer for catv and off-air ant. by using 2 diplexer, but is there any way to combine 2 dtv lines to send the signal through one line to make it 2 at the end of the run?
HELP..I dont want to run another line on the side of my home....
