Dying to Dump Cable if I can solve a Satellite dilemna

I have been a customer of Cablevision for years, and I hate them with a passion. Their service is expensive, customer service is pitiful, and they have irreparably maimed the New York sports viewer as a result of its meddling in affairs that it should have stayed out of. I desparately want to get rid of him, but here's the problem that I would need to overcome to do so (and I hope that someone out there has a solution so I can give Cablevision the heave ho for good): We have three TVs in the house and two computers that also access the TV to record shows and so that my family can watch TV while working on the computer. We have TIVOs hooked up to two of these TVs, and they have lifetime subscriptions attached to them so we do not pay any additional monthly fees and will never have to for the service. My wife is constantly taping shows on the TIVOs, so when I get home and want to watch a program, I have wired the two TVs with TIVO using a 2 way splitter so that the signal goes both through the TIVO into input 1, and directly into the TV for input 2. This way, I can watch whatever I want live when she is taping something on TIVO. I have also wired the third TV with a 2 way splitter and have a VCR hooked up to one input which enables one channel to record while live TV can be watched on another. Cable technology enables the viewing of non-premium stations by merely hooking the coax to the TV and no box is required. This is essential for my families viewing habits. Unless I can find a way to split the signal in some way similar to the way that I do with cable, I would have to get two decoder boxes for each TV, or a total of 8 for my house (i.e. 2 for the computers and 6 for the TVs) This would be a fortune at $4.95 a box, and would leave me with ridiculous amounts of hardware under or above each one of my TVs. Does anyone know of a way I can work this out? I want to dump cable very badly, but if I do not solve this dilemna, I cannot. Thanks for all advice.
