Getting signal but can't keep it. Can't Post

I have triple lnb satellite and I can't get it to keep receiving from the right satellite and transponder. Everytime I change it to Satellite B transponder 32 (at this setting I consistently get a signal of 97) when it goes back to watching tv it resets to Satellite A transponder 17 where I get signals from 0 to 30, which isn't good enough to watch tv.

I've tried adjusting the actual satellite and on Satellite A transponder 17 (which is where it keeps reverting to) I can't get a signal past 31. I've restarted the whole system and I tried running the setup again, but it won't stay set on Satellite B transponder 32. Is there something I'm missing? I've also checked and it still has the zip code right, so I don't know what's going on.

You went into the set up part of your receiver and told the receiver you have a 3lnb dish.

Your receiver should switch from sat to sat without you knowing it.

You just change channels and the receiver does the switching.

Are you viewing any channels at all?

There test channels starting at channel 490 they say which sat is viewed and either even or odd transponders.

Some transponders are for spot beams and if your not in the spot beam area you will not get a signal higher than 35%.These are used for local tv stations(cbs, abc, nbc, etc.)

If you are getting a picture for every channel you have subscribed to,you are ok.
