I'm currently a DirecTV customer with a round 18" dish (dual feed) pointed at the Ku 101 bird. We own several non-HD receivers. We have recently purchased a HD TV and have been thinking about upgrading our DTV service. I've checked out the channel listings for each bird and it appears that the Ka satellites carry mainly local HD programming, and I don't see any local St. Louis HD channels listed. I can receive the locals OTA at my location. Should I go with the AU9-S dish that receives the Ka/Ku bands or just the triple LNB dish that receives the Ku band only? I understand the AU9-S is more difficult to install. Where will DTV be adding additional non-local channels? Thanks!
