Local HD channels without DTV HD receiver Can't Post
Whats up guys, its my first post!

I just bought a 50" sony grand wega lcd. I have DTV right now and the new DTV DVR. I want to be able to get my local HD channels but dont want to have to buy a HD DTV receiver and have to get another DVR. Is there a way I can just buy a HD Receiver?? Im confused on this. ANy help would be great!

To get Hd channels from Directv you must have a Directv HD reciever or HD DVR from Directv.

You can get your local channels with a tv antenna and a HD reciever.(This reciever only works with the local channels from the over the air antenna and gives you NO Directv channels)

Or you can get your local channels with the regular TV antenna and either the Direct HD DVR or HD reciever.They give you both over the air HD channels with your own tv antenna and Direct HD programming and Directv regular programming.
