Lost Locals from new Zip Can't Post

I have had Direct TV for several years and have always had local channels. Recently, my zip code changed. My area was assigned a zip code that was previously used in a rural part of my state about 200 miles south of me.
Now, according to Direct TV’s zip code database, their system won’t feed me local channels because it thinks I’m in this rural area where locals aren’t offered.
I asked them at what intervals their database is updated and how long it might take before their system realizes that the zip code has moved to an area where they do offer locals.
Does anyone have any advice on what I could do to help remedy this?
Thanks
j-

Call back and ask for customer retention. Have some proof of your claims ( your address stayed the same, just your zip code changed). Anything in writing that you got when the zip code was changed.

This dept has most qualified people that solve the non-tech problems.
