Multi Switch help Can't Post

Hello all,
I just purchased a Phillips 4 x 8 multi switch. I hooked it up with the 4 cables coming from my dish and 5 cables going out to each receiver that I have. Everything worked fine for about an hour then the picture started to freeze up like it does during a bad storm, then we started getting a message on the screen saying searching for sat. in 1. Then the signal would just go out. I unplugged the multi switch and then plugged it back in and everything worked fine again for awhile. Then we were only receiving certain channells and then nothing. The next day we turned on the tv's and everything was working fine for awhile again and then we would start getting the freeze screen lose the signal then come back and work fine again. I disconnected the multi switch and hooked it back up the old way with only the 4 tv's and all is fine. My question is does it seem like there is something wrong with the multi switch or do I have something hooked up wrong or do I have a setting wrong? Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Jim

If you have the new 5lnb sat dish you need a multiswitch which is designed for the new ka/ku sat signals like this one

A link to the two new sat dishs

and also

So either you need the zinwell because you have of these dishs or you bought a defective Phillips multi switch.
