Need Help...Considering Dishacide	Can't Post

Yesterday a DTV tech came out and moved our dish and set up our Hughes box. All was working well until we got home last night. Now we are faced with the same problem that we had from the start. The system cannot find a sat. it just sits there for EVER searching for a sat. When the tech. left yesterday we had a signal and it was working. There is a view of the sky and the dish is only about 40 ft. from the receiver. Any suggestions before I switch to Dish Network.

First I would check all connections to make sure nothing came loose.If you find nothing loose either call the installer and tell him to back and fix.

Or call Directv and ask for custumer retention when you get a live person on the line.Tell them the service call/installation was unacceptable and needs to be fixed right or your switching to cable/or Dish.Also ask for something for lost time from work waiting for 2nd visit.They will usually give you 6 months of showtime for free or $2 month.
