Need Transponder = channel list Can't Post

Hi all I have searched virtually every site I can find and have not been able to find a channel list to correspond to transponders. I think I am on Sat 119B.

Some of my PPV channels are not very good. Order the movie on-line but signal breaks up.
I may need to tweak my dish aim to get better signal strength but not sure which transponder I need to look at.

Directv now has 3 satelites in operation. Each sat has 32 transponders.

Your dish is aimed and tweaked to get the 3 sats if you have a oval dish or a single sat with a round dish.

The last chart I found had the pay per view movie channels spread out on transponders 1,3,23,24,27 and 29.

Check your signal strenghth with your sat receiver.Enter the menu then go to installation. It should have an option for signal meter.

The signal strenghth should at least 80 on all transponders.the even numbered ones will have a stronger signal strength.

Tnx for Transponder = channel list [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks a heap.
Where can I find the rest of the channel=transponder lists?

I have a 2 meter round dish aimed south.
I think some trees limbs may be blocking some signal. Most are 80-90 but some are down to 40-50.

Some transponders will be low or read zero because they are being used for local channels not in your area.

To find which transponder is for a certain channel just go to that channel and then enter the menu and go to the sat signal meter. It will be on the transponder that is being used for the channel you were watching.
