One receiver 2 tvs? Can't Post

Hi all. Re-doing our kitchen and I would like to put a small under cabinet tv in our kitchen, but I do not want to have a separate satellite box, no room for it. Can I share a box that is somewhere else in house? I realize both tv's would have to have the same channel on, I think? Is this doable? Would I be able to change the channels on both sets, or just the one with the sat box? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Both sets would shown the same channel.

The sat box changes the channels, so the channels would change on both sets at the same time.
Just run a coax out from the sat receiver to the 2nd tv, or run a RCA video cable and two audio cables .

Hey, one more question. If I'm using cable tv instead of Sat, are their any sets that have the set top box built in?

Thanks.

With cable you just connect the coax to a set with tuner. ( Regular TV set and a plain monitor ). Only the analog basic cables will work with just a coax cable, cable box needed for digital channels 100 on up.

Some small sets are just monitors, and need something outside to feed them a signal.

Any set that has a cable card slot will work with cable channels higher than 99.

Basic analog cable channels are 2-99 and the digital channels that require a cable box or cable card run 100 on up.

Thanks Tank. Do you have any recommendations for a small set for the Kitchen that is Digital Cable Ready, one that uses a card so I wouldn't need the box?
Thanks again!

Most of the sets with cable cards are the large HD sets sorry.
