Problems with R-10 DVR

Just replaced the first one for humming coming through tv speakers and the second one is doing the same crap. It also has black horizontal lines that go from bottom to top of screen. Hooked my samsung and did not have any problems no noise interference from audio and no horizontal lines from video. I believe its the RCA connectors that are crap on direct tv .
