Satellite or Cable TV Can't Post
With all of the promotions it appears to me that they are all about the same once the special is over except for a few facts. Cable also offers high speed internet at a much cheaper rate and much faster speed and also phone service in many systems. Cable dose not have rain fade or snow fade. And offers similar programming.
I would like to know what you prefer Cable or Satellite and why.

i am not to sure that cable internet is better as i have ntl cable and would say in a week that i lose connection or get slow internet about 25% of the time most problems at the weekend the other point was i know about the problems people have with satelites but i always thought that the cable company got their signal via sattelite to start with having said that cable is still cheaper but as far as internet goes i wouldnt say better

You are correct about cable getting there signals from a dish but you are looking at a dish 18" for direct TV or a dish 18 feet for a cable company with allot more gain and signal received. That is why no rain fades.
Satellite internet provides top speeds of 1.5mbps down and 256mbps upload for a cost of around $80.00 DSL provides the same speeds for around 1/2 the cost and most cable systems provide speeds of 6 to 10 mbps
