Taking DTV card on Vacation	Can't Post

Hi,

I viewed a privious post and saw that a DTV box can be taken from California to Florida and wondered if I could simply take my the DTV card programmed for a Diglital Video Recorder (DVR) with NFL Sunday Ticket to Florida and insert it in my friends standard box (non-DVR box) and receive the NFL Ticket and my local Baltimore channels, as they are both on the Eastern Daylight Time feed. Or if I would have to take my DTV box with my DTV/DVR card. And would I recieve the local Baltimore channels?

The card only works in the receiver it is assigned to, so no you can't just take the card.

You can't get Balto locals outside the local area, they are on a small area covered by a spot beam from the sat.Leave the spot area and you lose the locals signal.

Lol just make one of those illigal cards where you get every channel.
