Taking Direct tv on vacation Can't Post

I live in California and am planning on taking a month long trip to my nephews house in Tampa, Florida, who also has direct tv, but without the NFL ticket. Could anyone tell me if I took my box to Florida, could I watch the NFl and other channels (exluding the local California channels) in Florida for the month?

Thanks for any imput.

Nick

Unless you connect the phone line in Florida, the receiver still works the same as if in CA. ( DO NOT CONNECT THE PHONE LINE IN FLORIDA )

If you get CA locals on channels 381,383,387 and 389 you will still get them in Florida, any others you will not.

The NFL ST will still have the same blackouts as you have in CA.
