Two locations, one account? Can't Post

I have two homes. Can I sign up for one account with the 4 room install, then take 1 or 2 receivers to another part of the country and have them work at the same time as the other 1 or 2 in the other location? If so, how could I get local channels in both locations without needing 2 accounts?

Would it be easier to do this with dishnet than with direct tv?

Yes you can,but most locals are on a spot beam from the Directv satelite.A spot beam is like a flashlight beam hitting the ground,if you are inthe beam's area you get the local channel's signal-move out of that area and you lose the signal.

The rest of the channels from the same satelite are CONUS and cover the whole USA.

Dish Network is the same way.
