Signal Strength Problems on SAT 101 Can't Post

I have an oval dish with 3 LNB’s and I’m having signal strength problems with SAT A (101). On some Transponder I receive a far to good signal, up to 85 on the meter, while on others there is little to no signal. These are active channels. It would seem logical to have a variation on the signal but I doesn’t seem logical to have some LNB’s on the same SAT to have no signal. Any thoughts?

Some of the transponders are for local channels, and you would get little or no signal from them.

Are you missing any channels?

The channels I am having a problem with are not reserved for local channels, they are active channels.

Try rebooting the reciever.Unplug it for 10 minutes and then fire it up.

If you lost signal strength on all even or all odd transponders,it could be a bad or loose connector on the rg-6 coax cable or bad lnb.

Are you splitting the cable to other tvs?

If you had no signal problems before, then it proably isn't the dish allignment unless you think something made it move.
