'acquiring info from satellite...' HEEELP Can't Post

sorry, but i dont know a thing about my new satellite. it worked flawlessly for a month and after "hurricane" ernesto i'm getting a blue screen with "acquiring info from satellite' message with 0% complete. ernesto really wasnt much more than a thunder storm where i am, but i'm guessing the wind did something or ??? i've tried the reset button and unplugging it and whatnot but it didnt work and i cant reach tech support past an automated voice. i would appreciate any help as college football has already started!!!! my satellite is about 15 feet off the ground and i really can't reach it. arg i dont know what to do

Is it still pointed in the same direction?

Were the winds strong enough to move the dish ?

Is the coax connected outside to a grounding block or anywhere it could have gotten soaked?

Do you lose your signal regularly? If the sat dish wasn't installed correctly it would go out on windy days.

try unplugging the receiver again for a longer amount of time.
Here are some Directv numbers

yea it's still pointed in the same direction. and i did notice that one of the cables was on the ground- though i'm pretty sure it was before the storm too- and it looked like it was in some pretty soggy ground. thanks for the numbers!
