hd sound Can't Post
Hi I am new to this hd world and Iam lost. My h20 reciever just quit and I put an h10 on to replace it.
I have a great picture but no sound just like someone pushed the mute buttom. any help???

How is it connected? What type of cable ?
No sound from the tv or your a/v receiver -speakers ?

It is on the hdtv cable from the tv, no sound from the tv.

Try adding and connecting the red and white cables to inputs on the tv from the reciver in addition to the cable you already have connected. Red and white are for sound

tank, If i add another cable from the reciever to the tv I get sound, but not on the hd tv connection I have to select the a/v input. the hdtv input has a great picture but no sound. I reset the resolution to all.

Are you using a hdmi,dvi or component video cables ?

Maybe you have a bad cable.

Both connections are componet, the hd and the a/v the hd has one green instead of yellow and just came off the h20 and was working fine.
the a/v is red,white,yellow and I get volume fine.

Component video are red,blue and green and are video only. Here are what they look like

Connect those for video and the red and white cables for sound and it you will have hd picture and sound.
