looking for hindi (india) channels on directv? Can't Post
On what directv satelite, can I find hindi ( channels from india) I do have 18 inch dish with single LNB. can that work. what is the elevation and direction for my zip code 95240?

Seems they are 95 west sat. A 18" will not pick up both the regular programming @ 101 and programming @95 .

Options are a second 18" dish pointed towards the sat @95 or the new 5 lnb sat dish ( this will give you all the D* sats 95,101,110,119 and both spaceway sats ).

Thanks for your answer. but I'm wondering that aren't 110 and 119 satelites, dishnet work's satelites or do these have something to do with directv?
secondly, i'm not interested in all the channels but hindi package only. as you said they are coming from sat 95. Do you think, in this case, can I use my 18 inch dish with single LNB. Also do you approximately know the elevation for my city, zip-code 95758.

Just call Directv and have them do the installation of a new 5lnb dish. Then you ready for HD if you ever want it.
Try these - Elevation- 38.3 Azimuth 141.6 skew -29.3, they should get you close.
