no local, did I screw it up? Can't Post

I lost my local last night, I have 2 dish setup, 1 for local 1 for sat. I went thru the guided setup again.
On the satellite choices it gives me 101a- that works
but the other one 119b has no signal. Before I ran setup
the 2nd choice was 97 something. I cant seem to choose the 97 one anymore. Thanks!

my zip is 65804

If you have Directv why do you have two dishes?

Should be one trible lnb oval dish.

The other sat company DISH uses two dishes.

If you have two dishes for Directv and only one works. Are you using a multi-switch?

The coax from both dihes goes into the multi-switch and up to 4 lines come out.

One line per receiver,up to 4 different receivers.

To check for bad switch connect the dish for 119 directly to the receiver and see if you have a signal. If no signal maybe your dish moved from the wind or something.

Make sure in your set up menu for your receiver it is set up for multi sat.

I ordered local and they came out and added a 2nd dish.
If you look how they are pointed, there is no way 1 dish could pick up local. Local dish points SE the other SW.
Maybe it's because of where I live. He did add a multi switch and I have only 2 lines into my tivo. I will try hooking up just the 119 to the receiver, never thought of that. Thanks! In the setup I have, round, oval, and triple
They had the oval with 2 lbns chosen. This Saturday I'll try your suggestion and let you know. Again thanks for the help.
