noob questions Can't Post
New guy to Direvct TV here. I am moving into a house where the last owner left their dish and used DSL.

i currently pay $100 a month for comcast digital cable with cable internet. I am looking for a cheaper route.

I plan to put it in 3 rooms.

If I buy all the recievers and hardware i need for the dish (not rent anything), what would the basic package run me?

I have researched 41.99 but do they charge 4-5 bux extra per tv even though I bought the equipment?

There is $4.99 fee for each additional reciever.The 2nd - 8th are each charged $4.99.

As a new Directv customer you get up to 4 recievers installed for free.You add DVR's for something like $49 each. Check the website for deals.

ok so what is the 4.99 fee for?

The website says it is a mirroring fee. What does that mean? Is that an access fee of some kind?

You are charged $4.99/month per additional receiver to access programming.

You can call it a access fee,surcharge.

ok so the "surcharge" is what you pay 4.99 for each additional receiver, up to 4?

So as a new customer, how much will i pay for basic programing and 3 recievers total per month?

41.99+4.99+4.99+4.99=56.96?

You can up to 8 recievers with a multi-switch.

The fees are

Rec #1 you pay the packsge price only- $41.99

Rec#2 $4.99

Rec#3 $4.99

Rec#4 $4.99

If any are DVR's there is another $4.99 dvr fee.(DVR= digital video recorders)
