satellite and antenna? Can't Post

Hello. I have directv and a normal uhf/vhf antenna in the attic. I noticed on my multiswitch there is an antenna input, is it possible to plug the antenna into it and send the signal out to the other tv's over the same coax that the satellite uses? How do you split the signal when you get to the tv? Thanks for any advise! Smile

When you connect the coax from the over the air antenna into the multiswitch it carries the signal the same way as the sat signal. Then connect coax from multi switch to D* sat receiver.
Just run a coax cable from sat receiver to the tv to get the over the air signal. You need to use the tuner inside your tv set to get the signal and watch those channels.

Thanks for the reply! I did not realize that the satellite receiver can split the signal from the sat in to the antenna out. I will give it a shot! Thanks again!
