Here are a few suggestions, and since I can't see your set up , some might not apply. Could there be condensation on the coax connections outside that dry out during the day and condensate again at night ? Do have just one receiver ? If not - do you lose the signal on the others ? We are trying to narrow down the problem by first ruling out the receiver, then the coax connectors, any splitters- multiswitches, and finally the dish. Does the dish move ? Is the lnb cracked and moisture is getting inside etc. Does anything block the sat dish during that period ? If you have just one receiver - can a friend or neighbor bring their D* receiver over and connect it during loss of signal time frame. That would tell you if the problem is the receiver or the set up. If your receiver doesn't get a signal and another receiver does, you have found the problem. Or during that same time period you could check your receiver by taking to someone's house with D* and connecting it during the loss of signal timeframe. If it works there , then the problem is a bad receiver. Good luck
