using multiswitches

I have a got a triple LNB dish going out to 3 receivers - one of which is a TiVO receiver (thus, I am using 4). I want to take away one receiver and add a High Def Tivo to the mix (5 total). Do I need to use a multiswitch to do that? If so, what kind? And, do all of the pre-existing receivers need to go thru the multswitch?
