2 DSRs, 1 Sat dishx3LNBs

I have a Dish on my roof with 3 LNBs and a splitter, and a coax downfeed into a DSR.
I want to connect a second DSR to this arrangement, connecting a "jumper" coax from Loop output of first DSR to LNB In on second DSR.
When I do this, I get an error message saying "No signal".
I've checked the second DSR, by connecting coax downfeed directly to it, and it works fine.
Can any of you help.
