Need to know what to buy to program my atmega 128 wafer

Hello, I am interested in buying all the necessary supplies needed to program
an "ORIGINAL ATMEGA 128-EFA (WAFER 816 ATMEGAPRO)
I already have this card, but i need to know what
i need to buy to program it in the future. i don't have a programmer, so that's 1 item i know i need. what else do i need, and how do i obtain the latest scripts to program the atmega 128.Also, I found out that many dish network satellite cards were blocked, if the atmega for some reason gets blocked or obsolete, then how would i know what to buy next, how do i know where they sell the latest working stuff? etc. Also, once i buy this from web, does it come with instructions on how to use? I am new at this. What place do you guys recommend and that has an 800 number, if not, then anything. hehe i am frustrated in this and hope someone may help me.Thanks for any info and i wish you all a beautiful day.
