I have a satellite dish ,a satellite receiver, a TV and I propose to get a PC with a TV tuner. Is there such a thing as a line splitter which will enable me to work the 2 television systems from the 1 satelite cable? If yes, then will I be able to watch different stations on either one? Quite separately, has anyone heard of a good (or any) way of playing files (which are on the PC) on another machine?Like wireless speakers or even *wireless television* My plan is to record the TV signal onto my Hard Drive and then to tranfer it to a DVD and then to watch the film with a DVD player on the regular TV.It would be nice to simplify the procedure if possible.I suspect it isn't....... Hello Geordief, The answer to your first question is YES.... Dish network has a receiver Model # 522 that enables you to have one receiver and split off of that one to another room for a second tv... And you would also receive two remotes, so the two tv's could watch whatever station they pleased, even if both are on... Hope this helps with the TV question....
