Mitsubishi VS-5043	Can't Post

My Mitsubishi VS-5043 would power down upon trying to power up, the green power light would click on then back off. Now it will not power up, and is blowing the main fuse, a 125 volt 4 amp. I seem to recall a faint green spot in the center top of the screen days prior to the unit going out. Any suggestions on what could be wrong? Thanks Mike

Many thing could be wrong but blowing the main fuse is not a good sighn. could be as simple as cold solder joint and a few bad caps destroyed the Horizontal output transister, seen this hundreds of times , or part if not all of the powersupply has shorted and takes the fuse the second the relay closes.
