RCA P52939 blowing fuses.

Hi there,
I've had an RCA P52939 for a few years. About a month ago it just lost power. I took it appart and noticed that the fuse by the fly back was blown (5 amp 250v). I put a new one in and plugged the TV in and the fuse blew again. A TV repair man came out and said that the fly-back was bad with 7-8 other little resistors, they wanted $450 for the repair . Any thoughts.
