Red lines on sony kp57wv600.. how do I fix this??	Can't Post

Our set is 3 y/o. Previously we've had the red arched lines on the screen. Sears came and adjusted them. After a bit the lines were back. Now last night I was watching t.v. fine. I turned off the set. About 15 min later turned the set back on and the entire screen lit up bright red. The standby light is blinking 7 times. When you turn the set on you can see a pic but then the red arched lines show up and the entire screen goes bright red again and then it goes black. I've read on this forum that the red needs to be adjusted. We tried to get the front of the t.v. off and cannot figure out how to do it. Please help if oyu can. We really cannot afford a costly repair right now.

Afraid what Sears did is what most people try first, they turned the screen down on the red crt, however this works most of the time but in your case think the bad thing happened, Yore red Crt failed and needs to be replaced
