Sony KP-53V80 turns green after warm up

After just a year and a half, the picture started turning green after 30 mins. The picture looks good until the green cast slowly takes over the screen. Could someone tell me the troubleshooting procedure to determine if the tube is bad or ?. Also How do I access the "service menu"?
