Toshiba 50H82 wavy picture Can't Post

I have a Toshiba model 50H82 that was whacked by a power surge. After having it repaired, now when turned on the picture tears horizontally for about 20 to 30 minutes until it warms up, and then the picture gradually comes back. Problem is that it is getting worse. Now there is staying wavy at the top of the screen, and it is still gradually getting worse. Thanks for any help.

There are a number of SMD electrolytic capactiors on the hyper board that need to be changed to correct that condition. The hyperboard is difficult to remove for a novice and unless you're familiar with soldering and desoldering smd components, it's not a job for the in-experienced.

I'd suggest calling a repair shop.
