Toshiba 56wh08b stuck in standby off position.	Can't Post

Help needed....Always leaving main power on and using remote to switch on/off for last 3 years. Switched off with remote to answer phone and was unable to switch on again since. Changed batteries in remote....nothing. Red light is still on constant as usual with a relay click every 30 seconds from back of telly. Unplugging and replugging causes first click and an initial short noise in speakers.

I have a blinking red power indiator, no picture, sound, graphics of any kind...let me know how you do..
